Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Axium you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Your account

You must give a valid email, keep your password safe, and be responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old.

Your content

Your notes and files belong to you. You give us permission only to store, sync and process them to run the service, including sending them to AI providers when you use AI features. Do not upload anything illegal or that you have no right to use.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt to break or overload it, reverse engineer it, or use AI features to produce harmful or unlawful content. We may limit or suspend accounts that do.

AI features

AI answers can be wrong or incomplete. Check important facts, calculations and sources before relying on them. AI use is limited by a daily allowance that depends on your plan.

Plans and payments

Axium has a Free plan and paid plans (Plus, Pro, Max), billed monthly or yearly through Polar. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from Manage plan in the app, and you keep paid features until the end of the period you paid for. New accounts get a 7-day trial of top-tier AI limits. Prices and limits may change, and we will tell you before a change applies to your plan. Refunds are handled under Polar’s terms and applicable law.

Availability and backups

We work to keep Axium running but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. Sync is not a backup, so keep your own copies of important content.

Liability

Axium is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time (see Delete your account). We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms.
